Topological-antitopological fusion equations, pluriharmonic maps and special Kähler manifolds
We introduce the notion of a tt*-bundle. It provides a simple definition, purely in terms of real differential geometry, for the geometric structures which are solutions of a general version of the equations of topological-antitopological fusion considered by Cecotti-Vafa, Dubrovin and Hertling. Then we give a simple characterization of the tangent bundles of special complex and special Kähler ...
متن کاملtt∗-GEOMETRY IN QUANTUM COHOMOLOGY
We study possible real structures in the space of solutions to the quantum differential equation. We show that, under mild conditions, a real structure in orbifold quantum cohomology yields a pure and polarized tt-geometry near the large radius limit. We compute an example of P which is pure and polarized over the whole Kähler moduli space H(P,C).
متن کاملtt∗-GEOMETRY ON THE BIG PHASE SPACE
The big phase space, the geometric setting for the study of quantum cohomology with gravitational descendents, is a complex manifold and consists of an infinite number of copies of the small phase space. The aim of this paper is to define a Hermitian geometry on the big phase space. Using the approach of Dijkgraaf and Witten [2], we lift various geometric structures of the small phase space to ...
متن کاملA geometric construction of (para-)pluriharmonic maps into GL(2r)/Sp(2r)
In this work we use symplectic (para-)tt∗-bundles to obtain a geometric construction of (para-)pluriharmonic maps into the pseudoRiemannian symmetric space GL(2r,R)/Sp(R). We prove, that these (para-)pluriharmonic maps are exactly the admissible (para-)pluriharmonic maps. Moreover, we construct symplectic (para-)tt∗-bundles from (para-)harmonic bundles and analyse the related (para-)pluriharmon...
متن کاملCurved Flats, Pluriharmonic Maps and Constant Curvature Immersions into Pseudo-riemannian Space Forms
We study two aspects of the loop group formulation for isometric immersions with flat normal bundle of space forms. The first aspect is to examine the loop group maps along different ranges of the loop parameter. This leads to various equivalences between global isometric immersion problems among different space forms and pseudoRiemannian space forms. As a corollary, we obtain a non-immersibili...
